If you are looking at concepts of NIS. Then you can go for HP-Certified by Rafeeq or Orelly publications which is already suggested by Victor.

Aand next step could be the OS specific "Installing and Administering NFS" a HP Manual. This way you know concepts and administration so you can better troubleshoot.
