nsupdate cannot update DNS server
I'm trying to use nsupdate to add my server (HP-UX 11.11) A record to the DNS server but it doesn't seem to work.
The following is the command I used (taken from manual):
>update add newhost.example.com 86400 A 172.16.1.1
I received no error message and no confirmation message.
Do I need to do anything else after executing the above command?
Thanks !

SYNOPSIS
nsupdate [-d] [-v] [filename]
DESCRIPTION
nsupdate is used to submit Dynamic DNS Update requests as defined in

Re: nsupdate cannot update DNS server
I know "nsupdate" is there, but SEP was recommending another command "npupdate".
BTW, "nsupdate" doesn't work for me.
Thanks.
