nsupdate

Hi all,

We use dynamic update of dns records from our HP-UX 11i machines. My problem is, I have to run nsupdate 3 or more times to get the records updated, probably becase our DNS servers are not on the same network and they cannot be in /etc/resolv.conf either. I tried to use server option of the command nsupdate, but it seems it is not implemented in HP-UX nsupdate. Is there some patch for it?

I think this can be solved by configuration.

Since nsupdate does work, you might need to add a route to the network with the Master server on it.

This will allow for more reliable communications.
