Object version not found

I have this problem, when I try to restore a backup version of SQL 7.0 Server I recieve the following message:
Could not find the objetc in the database. Database error reported is: "Object version not found"
When I reviewed the previus backup of the database, it seems to be ok, no error messages appear and the size of the backup matches the size of the database, any idea????
I have OB version 3.5 patch 22 on a Win NT 4.0 sp 6a Server.
