Re: Panic reboot --critical
Look for High Priority Machine Check in the ts99 file.
If you had a
memory error the it would be logged in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log.
Please see this /etc/shutdownlog file.
This will show more detail

Re: Panic reboot --critical
HPMC, High Priority Machine Check causes these problems.
If you lose a CPU for example this will crash the machine and sometimes it won't come up. It doesn't matter how many other CPU's your system has, the OS crashes in this even as designed.
Connect to your GSP/iLo, check the logs and you will see the HPMC.
Its a hardware call. Your system will not be stable until its fixed, even if it does boot.

Re: Panic reboot --critical
#cd /var/adm/crash
is there any core file generated .
more /var/adm/shutdownlog
If the core directories are there yoou need to go to the recent core directory
#cd crash.0/
#cat INDEX
This should show you the cause of Panic.

Re: Panic reboot --critical
From the shutdownlog entry, it is clear that the system has rebooted due to panic.
It is not a TC from console
System panic may be due to so many reasons.
Panic may be due to hardware failure, application may cause panic.
Look at /var/adm/crash directory for any dump files. Also see the ts99 file. ts99 file can be viewed to see if any hardware failures. you could get some clue from this file. Also you can see the INDEX file from the crash directory which will give some details. But in any case only HP can give the exact root cause. They only have tools to analyse these log files.
Hope this helps.
