Yes. Perl would be my weapon of choice but Expect also works.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

What do you mean by that? Do you want to write a script that can change multiple user passwords?? It is possible if you use expect scripts.

I am new to Perl :-( .. can you give me sample script using perl which can supply interactive information like username and password to telnet command??

Asking for stuff beyond the authors request calls for another thread, in my arrogant, big headed opinion.

I have posted a thread called mass.adduser that does all kinds of cool operations on the passwd file. I'm not sure where it is, guess I never copied it home.
