Patch Analysis

Hi,
I have basic question How to do Patch analysis ? what tools used for it and where are those available ? this is new task for me and don't know from where I should start, we have couple of HP servers with HP-UX 11.00

Go into the ITRC to CPM (Customer Patch Manager), there you will find how to analyze your systems for patches. Easy and good ;-)

On your system you should have the check_patches script.
It is located at /usr/contrib/bin.

#/usr/contrib/bin/check_patches >/tmp/patches_check.

Then open the /tmp/patches_check on the system for the patch analysis.
