Patch Plan

We are planning to apply some patches to our UNIX box running HP-UX 11.11. It is used as a production database server, running Oracle 8.1.7.4 (64-bit).

Attached is the proposed plan for applying the patches this evening after work. Could a more experienced SysAdmin please review it and let me know if it looks feasible?

Hi,

It seems to me that you have covered everything, the most important being a full Ignite backup before any patches are installed.

If possible add the "Diagnostic and Support Tools for the HP 9000"

and check if you server has the latest firmware ?
