Patching

I did a patch analyis and downloaded the patches for the system. I ran a create_depot_hp-ux_11. Running swinstall I have the ff on the gui:

BUNDLE
GOLDAPPS11i
GOLDBASE11i

Should I start installing GOLDBASE11i, then GOLDAPPS11i, then BUNDLE? Should that be the order, or I can hightlight all and install??

Thanks,

Re: Patching

You can highlight them all and do the install with only one re-boot. That's the beauty of it!

Re: Patching

Hi,

It can be done by selecting all at a time & will include only one reboot like this.

Re: Patching

Hi,

If you use the following format:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true -s /cdrom/BUNDLE11i_B.11.23.0409.3.depot BUNDLE11i

all needed patches will be installed.
