Re: PerfView...
MeasureWare and PerfView are 2 separate products, both purchasable.
To see if you have PerfView installed do an swlist -l bundle and see if its listed. Measureware is a different product.

Re: PerfView...
I may be wrong...but are you asking how to set up to monitor applications and to gather stats on your systems' performance???
If you have mwa and perfview I might recommend that you set up your parm file. There is the basic version of it located at /opt/perf/newconfig/parm. You would then copy the parm file to /var/opt/perf/ and edit it for your system. You could then run 'utility' and then run parm parm. That is
I am going to presume if you have Perfview you may have gotten Glance or Glance+.
If you have, then Glance is a very nice utility that will then use your configured parm file to watch whatever application/etc you specifically want to monitor.
Boy.....this is a VERY VERY brief overview...and there is plenty more you should know.
There is documentation on Measureware and Perfview (Glance doc is via the Online Help in Glance)...and I highly recommend you go over this to get a 'truer' understanding....
I hope this helped....or at least didn't confuse the issue.

Re: PerfView...
The PerfView executable is typically 'pv' and one system typically has the pv files. The other systems will have the agent, in this case, the MeasureWare agent. There is not and executable for MeasureWare, it just collects the data and PV does the display.
Most often found in /opt/perf. The MW agent will most often run as a background process and can be seen using the 'ps -ef | grep scop'. You should see a 'scopux' process. This is controlled by the mwa start/stop script.
