Re: Please Post Forums Issues - April 2005

Devender,

There are two explanations.

The most common reason is a post that gets removed but points had already been assigned.

The second, which happened to me, was during the response time problems of a couple of years ago when it was so slow that people would hit the submit button multiple times and once in a great while, it would actually get recorded more than once.

Hi all,

Opera 8.0 Final for Linux, Solaris and FreeBSD is available for download.
As usual, discuss the new version in opera.linux, on the opera-linux mailing
list, and in the my.opera.com Opera for Linux forum.

Download:
http://www.opera.com/

BTW, it's also available for Win32

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - April 2005

Thanks Pete,

You caught it right. It was captured from your profile only. I think it is the second case as it is happenning with older participants only.

Still thanks for explanation.

Best Regards,

Hi all:
It would be better to create a 64-bit Windows XP forum now, as it is being released by Microsoft rather than have people argue about it for months, don't you think?

Hi Cheryl/Dan.

The formatting on my thread http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=863693 appears to have gone a bit askew.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - April 2005

What's going on with the HP web sites today? I can't get to the patch database. I can't get to the Technical Knowledge Base. Any of the links that point to "support1.itrc.hp.com" come back with "support1.itrc.hp.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again"
