pnglib problem

Hi everyone,

can anyone give me some hints about the following error message, when trying to use gnuplot together with pnglib?

warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.0.6
warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.2.4
error: Incompatible libpng version in application and library

i downloaded the pnglib depot from hpux.cs.utah.edu/, unfortuantely i don't have the possiblity here to compile the source version, so i have to use precompiled binaries...is there anything i can do when i only the the binaries available?

Try compiling the source or try using the binaries at this site.
