print problem
I have a problem in printing on hp-ux 11i server. all jobs could not be printed. lpstat -a command hangs, and from sam when trying to browse physical printers it hangs also.
pls your help.

i think your inputs are not sufficient .tell us the type printer i.e remote printer or centronics or serial . better see in the files /etc/lp/interfaces nad /var/adm/lp/logs.

1.)This was a working setup?
2.) Is this problem started recently?
3.) Any changes performed on the system recently?
4.) Is your lpsched hangs intermittenly?
Please check the lpspool subsystem cumulative patchs are installed on the server.
verify the following patches are installed.
PHCO_27133
PHCO_10749
PHCO_8488
PHCO_16294

this patch is not installed, could it be included in othe patches. but I have this system since two years I did not faced this problem. no new software recently installed or any changes to the system.
