Printer intervention required? Lexmark 2480

Hi everyone. I'm having the following problem. I've configured a Lexmark 2480 printer on a HP 5470 server. I used Lexmark tool to create the virtual device with the corresponding IP address and afterwards I created to queue I'm going to use, but every time I tried to send a document to this queue, I receive the following message in the terminal:

Message from queue: factdistrib [ Fri Oct 17 10:06:17 2003 ] ...
Printer intervention required: 10.1.9.124
Printer condition: Off line

The printer is turned on, and I have connection to the IP address. It's rather strange, because in other ocassions I configured another printer with the same model (different virtual device) with its queue and it worked fine. I don't know what it's happening. I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
