Re: Printer issue

Can you ping DMQ1?

Re: Printer issue

Probably the easist thing to do is do an lpshut, remove and reinstall the printer, and then lpsched.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: Printer issue

You can ensure that the IP was changed for the printer in the PATH of /etc/lp/interface/model.orig/

or as stated, the easiest is to remove and then readd the printer

Re: Printer issue

I am not ablt remove the printer using lpadmin -x as it states there are jobs queued. Also starnge is the fact that lpstat -a says
root@ah20 # lpstat -a |grep -i DMQ1
DMQ1 accepting requests since Jul 11 15:25

Not sure what the issue is. How will remove it?

Thanks

Re: Printer issue

Use the cancel command to get rid of the requests or the lpmove command to move them to another queue. Is this a "Network" (in HP-UX speak) or a "Remote" printer?
