printing error

Hi,
My HP9000 E35 unable to print after a reboot. When issued lpstat -t, the following message displayed:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: catyetmsg from lpstat Abort
Anybody knows what exactly has gone wrong and more importantly how to restore all my print setting back to normal.

Thank you.

regards

Re: printing error

Rosli,
The library which has catyetmsg() is not in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH (In case of 32 bit, its SHLIB_PATH).

Check lpstat with ldd command and find out which library is not resolved. Find and add that library to the path. I personally not heard of catyetmsg().

HTH,

Re: printing error

Thank you for the input. I forgot to mention that we have an HP OpenSpool installed but I'm not that familiar with the command. Anybody can provide basic commands in administering OpenSpool? Thank you.

Re: printing error

The documentation and commands you are seeking are held as a pdf (adobe acrobat) document at the following :-

Hope this helps.
