problem in using freedisk
Hello admins,
i am using freedisk -v command to remove usnused file systems from the servers.it takes me to the swremove screen, now in the list there are marked, unmarked softwares and partially marked categories..
please tell me about thes conventions. So that i could know what needs to remove and what not..

I would NOT do this. Disk is cheap. Can you safely assume that something you haven't used in n-time will never be needed?
Actually, I thought that references to this utility had disappeared. I found the early 11.11 manapages still explain it, though:

Remember that this tool only finds snd removed products and files that were installed with the SD (software distributer) tools --- 'swinstall'. Thus, any packages installed otherwise will not be found.
