problem on RCP command

We have problem on the rcp command.
There are 2 L2000 Server, the ID oracle8 can do rlogin and remsh, but can not rcp any file.

"root" and other ID can do rcp.

Could someone advise me how to solve this problem?

Re: problem on RCP command

Strange. Can you check the permissions on the target?

Re: problem on RCP command

hello,

check your /var/adm/inetd.sec for permissions
Let your effort be such, the very words to define it, by a layman - would sound like a "POETRY" ;)

Re: problem on RCP command

This seems to be permission related problem. Could check the permission of target file, current directory and the rcp file itself.!!

We fixed the problem.
The .cshrc had some un-used configuration.
