Problem receiving email
HELP!
We are having problems receiving mail from sources in the Far East. The offending addresses have the following extensions ".com.tw" and ".com.hk"
eg. user@company.com.tw and user@company.com.hk
We currently use sendmail on our HP9000 to route all inbound and outbound mail for our clients.
All our clients use Microsoft Outlook 2000.
The problems start when an email arrives from .com.tw or .com.hk
When the user does a send/receive in Outlook to retrieve their mail Outlook just hangs. We then have to use vi and edit the users email on the server and remove ".tw" or ".hk" from the senders email address. The user can then receive their email as normal.
Hope you can help!
Paul

Re: Problem receiving email
Scrap Outloss, I mean outlook, which btw is a VERY very dangerous email program to have on your desk top, unless you enjoy the propagation of virus's.
Call M$ for a fix for outlook, of course plan on waiting for a while.
