Problem with mail
Hi
I found that /var/mail has lot of files that contains mail that should be sent to users but it is not
How to fix this issue?

/var/mail has files of mail that has been RECEIVED by users but not deleted.
If the users are supposed to do something about this mail its their responsibility. If the mail is usless, the files can be trimmed
> /var/mail/root
reduces root's mail to zero byes.
Mail that is supposed to be sent out either piles up in the mail queue (command mailq) or gets rejected back to dead.letter.
To figure out the problem, look at the file /var/adm/syslog/mail.log
