problem with nis users
I have installed on a ws the patches in the attached file. This ws is a client that points to a nis slave. The problem is that after the installation of these patches, the users that enter the ws aren't in their home directory. The automount isn't working, but before the patch install everythings works perfectly. I did the reboot. I also stopped and started the nfs.client and the nis.client. If i do ypwhich, the ws points to a slave. The auto_master is configured. I wonder if after installation of these patches, i have to install a patch for nis. OS is hpux10.20.
Thanks Tarek

Re: problem with nis users
The only things that might apply are:
ensure the /etc/auto_master does not have the bit set for execute.
verify the entry in the /etc/auto_master is accurate.
verify the entry in the passwd file is accurate.
