problem with stm
I have a problem with stm whereby when I run information on memory it fails. I did actually follow some advice I found on the web which involved stopping diagnostics moving the /var/stm/logs/os/memlog file out the way and restarting. This didn't however have the desired effect infact the memlog file has not been re-created when I try and get information again. Any ideas?

Re: problem with stm
You might want to look into stm patches:
http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/patchDetail.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.search|&patchid=PHSS_32924&context=hpux:800:11:11
or the latest:

Re: problem with stm
The latest version of OnlineDiags for 11.00 is A.44.00 (HWE0312); see http://www.docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm#table .
Do you get any error messages when you run the info tool? After running the info tool, is there anything in either the Info Activity Log or Info Failure Log (accessible from STM, 'ial' and 'ifl' if you're using cstm)? What about the User Interface Activity log ('uial' in cstm)?
Does the system activity log show any problems? ('lsal' in cstm)
Is the memlogd daemon running?
