Problem with win server 2003r2 shared space.
#I mount dir like that:
#mount -F nfs /form_windows /to_unix
I have not big experiens with unix mount options. So, i need your help with mountain the space shared from windows server 2003R2. I am using HPUX C-8000 b.11.11. After mounting the remote dir., on unix all users create files or folders with root ownership !!! It means, all ordinary (not user) users create files and folders, after ls -al you can see that owner is root and group is root !!! i do not understand why ?
Also Catia v5r18 starting only under root. Other users can't start the catia. Also i have NIS (net with 3 work station hp ux ). Please provide for me full information step be step what patches i need and how it install ...
P.S. on windows server there is no users like at unix NIS users...
Thank you all in advance...

Re: Problem with win server 2003r2 shared space.
The problem here is no solution has been implemented to have unix and windows users correspond.
You can use.
NIS
LDAP
Other solutions.
The mount was done by root thats why root owns the files.
You have created an enormous security hazard, in essence granted all your users root privileges.
This needs to be shut down and you need to reconfigure until windows users correspond with Unix users.

Re: Problem with win server 2003r2 shared space.
sorry, forgot to say.
Before we have Sun server. I mount the share folder from Sun under root and all was okey .... I just change the mount options :
#mount -F nfs -o rw,vers=2 /..... /....
