Problems installing 11iv2

The hardware is ZX6000 (rx2600).
I am trying to install 11.23 on it off CDROM.
However, it hangs and does not get installed.

I get the following:

And that is where it hangs. Why won't it boot off the CD?

This may not be related, but ensure that you have selected the right console input and output devices in the EFI shell.

How long did you leave it at this point, it can take a very long time to come back, I was just wondering if you had left it and gone for a coffee to see if it carried on?

I have waited about 5 minutes.
How long do you think it should take based on your experience?

It can take up to 20 minutes, depending upon different things, especially memory. I would leave it, have a coffee, cigarette and a mars bar, then amble back and have a look. If it does fail, it will eventually come back and tell you an error message.

I've left it like that overnight. It hangs without any further error message.

Could it be SCSI controller?

What version of install media?
Your system is a workstation and workstation support for 11.23 is stopped, the last supported version was sometime in 2004.
Could this be the reason?
