Problems installing TCP Wrappers

I am trying to install TCP wrappers on HP-UX 11.23. I downloaded the .depot file and while running swinstall, I get the following error message. What can I do about it? Is it a problem with version compatibility?


swinstall -s /tmp/TCP-WRAPPERS_11.11.depot

Currently, there are no products on this source which are compatible with the target. Therefore, no products are shown.

Yes, it would appear to be a version incompatability.

You can get 11.23 binaries (and/or source code) from the HP Porting & Archiving center:

I should mention that tcpd is on the system. Does that indicate that TCP Wrappers are installed?

Yes, the TCP Daemon (/usr/lbin/tcpd) is the TCP Wrappers daemon.
