Hy,
I am triying to install J3525A x25 card in a HP9000 N4000 with hp-ux 11i, the problem i have is that the card is not claimed buy the system i get:
unknown -1 172/0/0 UNCLAIMED unknown PCI(1133B921)'
My doubt is that i didnt get any drivers cd, but from what i have seen i think i need to purchase the HP X.25/9000 J2793B software to make it work?, is this true?, is it necesary to have this soft?

I believe you will need the software. What you need is the J3525 driver for HPUX.

I have searched for drivers with J3525, but cant find anything, the only reference to software i have found, is in the 1st manual you pointed out, that is the one i was reading, it says install the J2793B software.

after further investigation there does not seem to be a seperate driver for J3525, so my conclusion is also that you need the software pack.
