What happens when you login using telnet? My guess is that you will get the same message. The administrator has set a limit to the length of time that a password remains valid and must be interactively changed when this time period expires. Set as new password for the nms1 user using telnet and the error will go away.

Could you give us a bit more info, are you using the same user on both servers, same .rhosts file ?

Hi Jairo,

The user's PW has expired on nms1.

You need to login to nms1 as that user (or su to that account) & set a new PW for that user.

Try to check & change, if need "Expiration
Time" of Password for this user:

SAM > Accounts for User&Groups > Users >
...selection appropriate user....
> Actions > Modify > Modify Password Options
