problems restoring with vxrestore
Hi,
I'm trying to restore a backup made with vxdump on a 11.0 system with vxrestore on a 11.i system.Unfortunately the vxrestore aborts with multiple errors:
xxxxx: not found on tape
vxfs vxrestore: expected next file 98, got 97
not at beginning of a file
extract file xxxxxx
vxfs vxrestore: resync restore, skipped 976 blocks
vxfs vxrestore: expected next file 6, got 0
vxfs vxrestore: resync restore, skipped 4532 blocks
Add links
Set directory mode, owner, and times.
Check the symbol table.
bad entry:incomplete operations
name: parent name %s
sibling name: ./xxxxx
entry type: LEAF
inode number: 6
flags: NEW
abort? [yn] y
dump core? [yn] y
./vxrestore.sh[25]: 18225 Abort(coredump)
Anyone have any ideas in how to solve this?
