problems with command view

hello

im having a little trouble trying to get cmdviewVA working. Im running it through a VNC session and whenever i run cmdviewVA va7400-1, i get the following error message

Error creating GUI window.

i have stopped and restarted all the necessary services, and that still doesnt work. Can anyone shed some light on this situation

Shalom,

Well check that all connections and lights are normal.

Then perhaps check the error messages for more details, post that or search google yourself.

Did you adjust your DISPLAY variable?

# echo $DISPLAY

thanks for your help, i was having problems with my display settings, that has been fixed, although i have another issue that i could do with help on. Is there anyway of resetting the secure manager password, as i need to assign a lun to a host that i have just created, and its asking for the password, and nobody seems to know it.

Is there a generic default password, or is there a command i can run to assing a lun to a host. the lun is 122 and i want to assign it to host nmhp06. At the moment we run the cvsdm from nmhd01

Try the default: AUTORAID

thanks for all your help, i needed to reset the password as it got screwed up,

This issue has been resolved
