Problems with inodes

Hello

I'm monitoring an application that is leaving open files as it processes without an apparent cause.

The output of lsof regarding one of those unknown files is
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE FILE-FLAG DEVICE SIZE/OFF NODE NAME
bcgm 11523 bscsadm 45u REG R,LG 64,0x6000b 152 88484 /apps/bms (/dev/vgapps/lvol11)

When i try to see which file it is neither ls -i or find -inum is able to locate the file.

Can someone please help me in trying to figure out what is happening.

Thnaks in advance.

Did you cd to /apps/bms before running your "find . -inum 88484" ???

Could you post a "bdf" ??

What is the process "bcgm" ??
