PSEUDO TTY

HELLO to all members,

We have L-2000 server with HP-UX 11,
when I telnet to this server from other server,

we get tty as "/dev/pts/tb".
Here if connect to oracle through sqlplus,
I am getting the TERMINAL name from v$session table but if I connect to sqlforms30 on the same tty "/dev/pts/tb" I am getting BLANK valuE for TERMINAL IN V$SESSION TABLE.

What would be the problem can anybody help me
please?
