Hello all,
we are running an Oracle express server app on an 11.11 HP server which has the following kernel params. set for npty and nstrpty set to 400 and 240 and recieving errors which state: open master pty fails. return code= -1. I realize this may be an oracle error but was wondering if both params should be set identically.

It is suggested that the two values should be same.

We use 60 for both params on all our oracle HP servers.....
