Question about oracle

Is any one running Oracle 8.1.7 on hpux 11.11?

Yes. We are running Oracle 8.1.7.4 on HP-UX 11.11.

Wagar,

Please humor us with a minor indication as to why you would like to know.

And if you could... humor us with a minor indication why this was not moved forward.

Stable application with no more development?
3rd party dependencies?
Leave well enough alone?
Don't want to deal with cost based optimizers?
No support?

Must admit, 8.1.7 was a solid version, but my customers are asking about 11g and one is using 11g (RACced) in production.
