Questions HP-UX 11i v2.0 (SEP2004) on PARISC

1. Anyone already using on Production Environments?
2. If my build environment (COBOL/ServerExpress + C/C++) will be on HP-UX 11i v2.0 - will my executables run on older HP-UX 11.11 (11i v1.0) environments?
3. Likewise, if my build environment remains on HP-UX 11i v1.0, can I safely continue to deploy my builds/executables on HP-UX 11i v2.0 environments?
4. Those that already have v2.0 running on PARISC systems - are the versions of VxVM and OJFS (a.k.a VxFS) now the same - meaning both at version 3.5?

No specific answers to your questions but there are many docs and resources on the '11i homepage'
- start with www.hp.com/go/hpux then:

I suggest you try 'Developer's Ecosystem' and DSPP as initial choices. (on the ecosystem link there is a 'test drive HPUX 11i' option which may allow you test out some of your specific queries - there is also a secure test-drive option which I believe requires you to join the DSPP program....?)

Running binaries compiled on release N on release N+M where M >=0 has always been supported. Runing binaries compiled on release N+M on release N has not. So, modulo alterations from the excellent links already posted, you can compile on 11iv1 and deploy on 11iv2 but I would not suggest trying to compile on 11iv2 and deploy on 11iv1

I have just installed HP-UX 11i v2.0 (11.23) DVD onto an N-Class and will shortly be testing all of our standard software and will post findings on this thread.
