RAID on Raw Device

Hi all,
Is it possible to implement RAID on Raw devices, if so .. have anyone gone thru any complications/problems ?

and keeping performance in mind .. what all things to be taken care while configuring Raw device.

Hi William,

first create a logical volume with type undefined and the use lvextend to mirror the raw device on another disk.

Isn't it better to mirror at H/W level ?
