RAM corrupt ?
I got this message. Is the RAM corrupt ?
system/events/memory/0_5 is >= 3.
Its current value is SERIOUS(4).

This is a FAQ. Signle bit errors are corrected by the ECC memory. A few of those errors are no issue. If you get a lot of those errors you better call HP to have them replace the memory.
They can be monitored with stm.

You can ignore single bit memory error unless the no. of errors are more.

run mstm -> select memory -> run information log -> scroll to Memory Error Log Summary.
If this value is something like more than 4 to 5 digits figure, please get the HP engineers to replace these wasted memory. 1 or 2 is nothing to be alarm yet.
sometimes after a re-boot, these error may be reset.
