- check the cabels.
- sometime it is not easy to see the cd in the boot manager. could you send the output of the search.
- you could use a ignite server if you have one.
- what type of machine is it.

There's a limit to how many devices search will show.
First, find the path of the cd. The best way to do this would be to reboot and do an ioscan, noting the path. Then reboot again, interrupt the process and enter "sea

hi,
just remove all other disks( remove cable only ) and connect only the disk u need to install OS. and check your cable connection for the CD drive..
