reboot after panic

I am trying to find out what this message means. It caused a panic and reboot.

"Data or Code Translation Improperly Disabled"

Any clues or pointers?

Re: reboot after panic

a bit more information would not go astray.
What OS version? what model?
The easiest is to post the top section of the INDEX file in your crash directory.

Re: reboot after panic

Thanks for that info, you need to get some hardware changed and firmware updated on your system:

PANIC:Data and or Code Translation Improperly Disabled -- Problem in PDC when
handling memory page deallocation. Memory module or CPU board should be
replaced. New PDC will be released in Oct or Nov 2001.
