Re: reboot after panic:

it is a B10.20 on a B2000

this station runs a scsi test program, that writes/checks the result in oracle 8 database

Re: reboot after panic:

Well as 10.20 is no longer supported, your best bet is to ensure you have the latest patch bundle installed.
One thing to think about, has this recently started to happen? If so, what changes have been made.

Re: reboot after panic:

Some easy info to look for.
dmesg

and look at the message immediatly preceeding the panic message in syslog for clues to what it was doing when it crashed.

Re: reboot after panic:

Non -access data TLB miss is usually associated with doing a remote backup or remote write.

Check that your LAN, ARPA, NW, SCSI patches are up to date.

Re: reboot after panic:

We use B10.20, is there some patchas avaible or only for 11.11i.
At the moment we choose to buy some new switches to change the 10Mbit hubs(I think that must solve the problem too, because the collision led is always on)
