Recommended method and documentation for Windows Active Directory Authentication for HP-UX

Good morning.

I guess I need to start over again, with my request from the beginning.

I need a recommended method (along with documentation to follow) for configuring my HP-UX to work with Windows authentication. (As it is now, I am attempting to use the Password Synchronization, and that is failing like crazy, and I have made several postings to try to get that resolved.

In this case, I want to know what is the recommended method, and links to the documentation for doing this.

I know that with the Password Synchronization method, I can specify which accounts to include/exclude from this feature (possible from Windows and HP-UX side), so I would hope for the same to be possible, as there are certain accounts, such as "root" (super user), "oracle" (database account), or "baan" (ERP application account), that I would want to exclude from participating in this feature.

I think that I am very close to completing the configuration of the Password Synchronization method, so if you have any hints on that one, that would be nice.
