Regarding VGRA Problem
Hello all
I am getting following error message while doing vgcfgbackup on HP D CLASS server
with HPUX 10.20.
Message: VGRA appears to be corrupted , not able to do vgcfgbackup
Any patch is there to resolve this problem? Pls inform me.

I'm afraid there is no way to correct a corrupt VGBR with patches.
try to read out the volume groupe information with
lvlnboot -v
and write them back using lnlnboot -b, lvlnboot -s...
you better check the man page of lnlnboot befor you doing this

There is no good troubleshooting with bad data

There was a bug in 10.10 when HP made LVM POSIX-complient. All to do with time-stamps... In certain cases with 10.20, this error still appears.
To fix it, install the latest LVM cumulative patch ; believe it's PHCO_18563.
