Reinstalling SD-UX

Hi,

I need some help trying to reinstall SD-UX in one server in which some of the sd-ux file were "accidentally" removed.

I was thinking in installing the install-sd , but I've 11.23, and I could't find that file in the CD, the only one I found is the SD product itseft, but I have not swinstall !! ..

Some help will be really appreciatted.

Thanks,

Re: Reinstalling SD-UX

Shalom,

You can't install it because its part of the Core OS. Its not an option.

If SD-UX is not recoverable then the system is dead, re-install it.

What does "swverify \*" show? (Or was that removed too?) You could copy the missing files from another system. Or get them off of your CD.

There is a free download for SD-UX:

Unfortunately, the installation directions don't have alternate instructions if your copy of swinstall has been destroyed. :-)
