remote printer (RLP command) printing wrong orientation

In hp-ux 10.20, I have a created a remote printer in SAM. The print joba are printing landscape rather than portrait. How can I changed the orientation? Or is it impossible?

Re: remote printer (RLP command) printing wrong orientation

The rmodel interface script imposed when creating a remote printer through SAM does not offer any special options to control page formatting. My guess is that landscape is the default orientation for the printer.

Attached is an alternative interface script which sends the file through the PCL5 model before passing it to the rlp command so that the expected lp options will work (ie lp -oportrait). This won't work if your printer is not PCL5-capable.
