I get stuck with remove a boot disk :(
Something wrong with me?
I have rp5470 running with HP-UX 11i version
Here is screen when check by lvlnboot command:
Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:
Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:
/dev/dsk/c1t0d0 (0/0/1/1.0.0) -- Boot Disk
/dev/dsk/c2t0d0 (0/0/2/0.0.0)
Boot: lvol1 on: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0
Root: lvol3 on: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0
Swap: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0
Dump: lvol2 on: /dev/dsk/c1t0d0, 0
I did as follow:
1. Break all of mirror with every logical volume in vg00.
2. Try to reduce that disk from vg00:
vgreduce /dev/vg00 /dev/dsk/c2t0d0
But the error message said that the disk was used.
Check for vgdisplay says:
PV Name /dev/dsk/c2t0d0
PV Status available
Total PE 4340
Free PE 4218
Autoswitch On
Means that the pv was used 122 PE.
But I have breaked all of LVM mirror.Where are the allocated PE?
How to remove that disk in this case?
Thanks a lot.
