I want to remove mysql software from my hpux 11.11. From swlist I cannot find it.

Solution
If its not in swlist then its not installed via the software distributor.
The only way to get it out is to manually remove the binaries and data from your system.
You will have to hunt for it. You may have some clues as to where its installed in the mysql startup script in the /sbin/init.d directory.

what is the output from:
# swlist -l product|grep -i mysql
or is there any output?
if there are, u may either do:
# swremove mysql
or
# swremove
-> scroll to HPUX11i-OE -> mysql -> press spacebar to highlight -> Actions -> Remove
