replace the disk help required.

Hi all,

I have one rp444o server which is having one disk faulty,but in ioscan it is showing,green led also.two days before server crash becoz of one vg04 is having problem,(not activating)which is in that disk c2t0d0,only swap is there in that disk,no mirror copy. I have gone through many docs but still confuse,server is having 11.11 version of os.As of now server is running without that vg..I need steps,to replace the disk.
kindly don't refer any docs.

Looks like a very, very bad system design made by you!

Why you didn't mirror the swap?

As you already know, a failed disk containing active swap space will crash your system!

If the disk is still active, you must do an "offline replacement" - see the doc above for the steps.
