Replicating System

Hi,
Is there any way through which I can
replicate an exisiting system to another one
Not through tape but over the network.

Hi,
Yes there is but you need an Ignite-UX Server. But still you need a tape for Client side. You can find all the information in B2355-90834 Ignite-UX Administration Guide in System Recovery Chapter in FAQ.

If you are thinking about the data, then Continouts Access is the software which is used to replicate data on high-end disk arrays over LAN/WAN.

Ignite UX is the option. GO thr' the doc below thouroughly...

What you need is Ignite Client Section.. just go through that.

It is possible to ignite clients without tape and over the network. Your Client can boot thr the NIC card and search for a Ignite Server to start with the installation.
