rlpdeamon, really high cpu usage

Is it normal for rlpdeamon to use 60% ++ of the cpu? I think it is doing nothing because ther is nothing in
/var/adm/lp/lpd.log

Any tips on how to go about this?

some terminal dump and top

Re: rlpdeamon, really high cpu usage

Shalom Mohammad,

It really depends on how busy your system is. If this is the only process doing work, its not uncommong for even higher cpu usage rates.

You could try stopping the service that owns the daemon and restarting it. Sometimes a processs, due to bad code evelopes a problem that is solved by restart.
