Re: roll back system

If I am correct, there was command called "tsconv".

I think it is no more supported!!

/usr/lbin/tsconvert -r (* unconvert *)

Re: roll back system

HI,

you can use /usr/lbin/tsconvert -r,
u check it out by verifying /tcb directory. If this directory is present then its trusted system if not non-trusted...u can try out thru sam also.

Re: roll back system

to untrust the system use the command
"/usr/lbin/tsconvert -r"
make sure that the users are not logged on to the system ,
to verify check /tcb directory , after untrusting the system this directory vanishes

to convert the system into trusted mode "/usr/lbin/tsconvert -c"

Re: roll back system

You can go back and forth as often as you want.

Anyone using passwords greater than 8 characters might have a little trouble, but the converted system should ignore characters in excess of 8.

I am somewhat intersted as to why you want to convert. With few exceptions trusted systems are more secure.

Security is a good thing right?
