Re: rp3410 error

/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

Makes sure /etc/rc.config.d/savecrash is set to take crash dumps

dmesg

This is a common outcome of the HPMC, High Priority Machine Check.

For example if you lose a CPU the system must crash.

So ask yourself, or perhaps use the cstm/mstm or xstm utility: "Do you know where your hardware is?"

Seriously, make sure everything that should be present is present.

Also, paying attention to where you post is a good idea. This is Linux Admnistration. I'm going to see that your case is transferred to HP-UX.

Re: rp3410 error

Is anything logged in /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log around the time of the crash?
